Sanders has chosen My Prerogative by Bobby Brown as his entrance music. Harland Sanders has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hawk, right into the meat.
Hawk lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Hawk misses the target.
Sanders connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hawk momentarily.
Sanders lands a glancing blow to the side of Hawk's head.
A shot to the liver by Hawk. Beautiful body shot.
Sanders's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hawk connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sanders scrambles back to his feet.
Sanders tries to clinch up.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hawk.
Hawk lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Sanders tries to sprawl but Hawk drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hawk throwing shots but Sanders is blocking nicely.
Sanders tries to kick Hawk off but Hawk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Sanders keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hawk wants to pass to mount but Sanders is defending the position.
Hawk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sanders's head.
Hawk thows a huge punch but Sanders dodges it nicely.
Sanders is looking to escape.
Hawk throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Sanders is trying to get back to full guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hawk connects with a nice short shot to Sanders's temple.
Hawk not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Hawk trying to control the action but Sanders is working from the bottom.
Hawk is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Sanders is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hawk throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Hawk has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sanders's face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hawk lands a big shot there that rocks Sanders but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hawk cracks Sanders with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
