Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogue Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Walter Kovacs!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacs throws a head kick but Four moves out of range.

Four pushes Kovacs up against the ropes in a clinch.
Four blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kovacs is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Four lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Four landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Four lands a nice short elbow.

Kovacs is defending against the submission attempts here by Four.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Four connects with a nice short shot to Kovacs's temple.
Four not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kovacs blocking the ground and pound attempt from Four.
Kovacs is refusing to be controlled, as Four sits in half guard.
Kovacs has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Hugs & Kisses. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kovacs tries to kick Four off in order to stand up. Four Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Four working the body and head with strikes.

Four is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kovacs is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Four lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Four connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kovacs some visible discomfort.
Four trying to control the action but Kovacs is working from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Kovacs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Four has hold of Kovacs's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kovacs seems comfortable defending it but Four has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kovacs is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kovacs is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Four couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rogue Four!
