Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arman Albarillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason Dixon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Albarillo or perhaps it was just good defense by Dixon, which made it look bad.
Albarillo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dixon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dixon cracks a nice hook into Albarillo's ribs.
Dixon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A nice side step and Dixon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Dixon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Albarillo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dixon's guard.
Dixon wants to sweep here but Albarillo controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dixon is trying to escape the mount.
Albarillo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

BOOM! Albarillo connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Albarillo stands up and beckons Dixon to join him on the feet.
Arman Albarillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Albarillo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dixon is fending him off so far but Albarillo persists. Nope, Dixon circles away and we're back to standing.

Albarillo forces Dixon back against the ropes and clinches.

Dixon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Albarillo dives in for a single leg takedown but Dixon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Dixon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dixon stuffs the takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dixon drops Albarillo with a beautiful combination! Albarillo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dixon is looking for the KO!

Albarillo is rocked!
