Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stevens avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stevens moves out of range as Michaels strikes.
Michaels misses with a few strikes there.
Michaels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stevens was well out of range. Poor timing from Michaels.

Stevens scores with a hook to the body. Michaels takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Stevens uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Michaels has time to react.
Michael Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stevens connects with a good right hand that stumbles Michaels. Michaels circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Stevens throws a chopping leg kick but Michaels manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stevens moves out of range of the strikes.
Stevens lands a nice looking body shot.
Stevens is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Michaels misses the body punch
and Stevens counters with a straight right hand.

Michaels is rocked!

It looks like Michael Michaels has been cut.
Stevens lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Michaels at a distance.
Michaels is still on wobbly legs! Can Stevens finish him?

Stevens rushes Michaels and presses him up against the cage.

Stevens tightens his grip and picks Michaels up, before dumping him to the ground. Michaels manages to land in guard.
Michaels seems to have recovered his senses.

Michaels throws a series of punches but Stevens avoids them all with ease.

and Michaels is countered with a crisp right hand from Stevens that sends him to the canvas! Stevens follows him to the mat into side control.
