Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tristan McPeak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Left Knee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McPeak comes to the cage accompanied by The Phoenix. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knee misses with a kick to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Knee, right into the meat.
Knee throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McPeak.

It looks like Tristan McPeak has been cut.
McPeak tries a head kick but it misses.
McPeak fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've been informed that Knee has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A nice inside leg kick there by Knee. That's going to slow McPeak down.
Knee lands with a thumping leg kick.
McPeak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knee is fending him off so far but McPeak persists. Nope, Knee circles away and we're back to standing.

and McPeak counters with a single leg into guard. Knee didn't expect that.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Knee can do anything to dispel that myth.

McPeak wants to pass the guard but Knee is keeping the position.
McPeak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McPeak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McPeak looking to sit in guard and control but Knee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McPeak looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Knee throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing McPeak to regain full guard.

Knee throws a strike but McPeak rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McPeak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McPeak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

McPeak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McPeak has managed to get both his arms back between Knee's legs - danger averted.

McPeak walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

McPeak is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Horrible takedown attempt by McPeak or perhaps it was just good defense by Knee, which made it look bad.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McPeak closes the distance and clinches up with Knee, looking for a takedown. McPeak pushes Knee against the cage but Knee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Knee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McPeak is working away from the top position though.
