Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akeen Coker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Federico Manta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ultima Corsa by Mondo Marcio kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Coker. Manta does a little dance to reset his feet.
Coker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Coker takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Manta looks to score with a jab to the body but Coker is just out of range.
Manta uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Coker has time to react.
Akeen Coker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Manta is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Coker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Manta does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Coker in particular looking to stall.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akeen Coker.
Well Coker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
