Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Efren Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hold The Door (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Efren Porter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hold The Door!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Door is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Porter's half guard.
The Door lands with a punch from half guard.
The Door keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The Door missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Porter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The Door takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The Door controlling the pace.
It looks like The Door might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The Door has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Door is continuing to stall.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Porter tries to clinch up but The Door circles away and keeps his distance.
Hold The Door seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Door swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The Door shoots in and gets a takedown into Porter's guard.
The Door sitting in guard here, content to control.
Porter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The Door slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The Door lands a big right hand that sends Porter crashing to the mat! The Door stays standing though and waves Porter back to his feet!


It looks like Efren Porter has been cut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Porter rushes The Door and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Porter manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The Door is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The Door slips nicely into half guard.
The Door is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Porter!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The Door tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The adventures of The Door the control monster continue. Boring.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Efren Porter's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!



Porter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. The Door was covering up waiting for the punch and Porter finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Porter wants to stand and escape but instead The Door has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The Door has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Porter is trying to keep The Door in close.
The Door sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Porter's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Door postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Porter to stand up.
The Door will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Door misses with a body shot.
Porter doesn't manage to clinch there - The Door circles away.

The Door closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - The Door lands in his opponent's guard.
Porter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as The Door controls the pace.
Porter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The Door chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Door works over Porter with some ground and pound from guard.

The Door drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says The Door as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Porter screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with The Door! Nice submission victory there!
