Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zackary Leblanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mutsu xx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zackary Leblanc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leblanc fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. xx sprawls well initially but Leblanc persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
xx looks like he's trying to stand up.
Leblanc could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
xx wants to control but Leblanc is keeping busy and won't allow it.
xx misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Leblanc thows a huge punch but xx dodges it nicely.
xx pushes Leblanc off looking to stand but Leblanc dives back in and keeps control.
xx is positioning himself well to prevent Leblanc advancing to mount.
Leblanc stops xx from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

xx shoots in and bounces Leblanc off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

xx trying to control the position from guard on top but Leblanc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
xx distracts Leblanc with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Leblanc shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

xx escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leblanc gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

xx pushes Leblanc off and gets back to his feet.

xx has closed the distance and engaged Leblanc in a clinch.

xx darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leblanc tries to roll over but xx keeps him under control.

xx is looking for a kimura but Leblanc is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for xx to get the leverage.

xx drops an elbow to the side of Leblanc's head.

xx stands up and beckons Leblanc to join him on the feet.

Leblanc went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Leblanc gets caught napping as xx dives in and scores a takedown. Leblanc manages to retain guard.

Leblanc escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. xx gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Leblanc lands some strikes from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

xx is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
xx tries to free his leg and advance position but Leblanc is retaining full guard.
xx lands a couple of digs.

xx stands and steps away. Leblanc gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

xx takes the fight into the clinch.

xx has clasped his hands together around Leblanc's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

xx goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Leblanc escapes and is now in half guard on top.
xx is trying to control but can't.
Leblanc throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing xx to regain full guard.

Leblanc might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Mutsu xx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Leblanc gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows xx to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Leblanc wants to control but xx passes easily into half guard.
Leblanc is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
xx lands strikes from half guard.
