Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joyo Kumlakar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Brown!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joyo Kumlakar!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumlakar takes one to the chin there.
Brown definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kumlakar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brown defends well and Kumlakar ends up having to push Brown into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kumlakar takes the fight into the clinch.
Kumlakar is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kumlakar is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brown gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jackson Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joyo Kumlakar.

Kumlakar has hold of one of Brown's legs. Brown is fighting the takedown attempt but Kumlakar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Kumlakar won't allow Brown to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kumlakar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!

Kumlakar is pulling down on Brown's head. It's preventing any offense from Brown, at least for the moment.
Brown wanted to stand there but Kumlakar had control of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown wants to stand and escape but instead Kumlakar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Kumlakar drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kumlakar seems to have locked his on tight now - Brown screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kumlakar, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Joyo Kumlakar!
Joyo Kumlakar is the new light heavyweight champion!
