The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vladimirovich pushes Butler up against the cage in a clinch.
Vladimirovich presses Butler against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Butler is breathing heavily.

Vladimirovich is trying to trip Butler. He has hold of a leg but Butler is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Vladimirovich persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Vladimirovich thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vladimirovich works over Butler with some ground and pound from guard.

Vladimirovich is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Vladimirovich landing some decent shots from guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clifford Butler's cut is getting worse.

Butler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vladimirovich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vladimirovich keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Butler's head.

Clifford Butler's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Clifford Butler's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
