Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommie Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sent Away (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommie Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommie Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sent Away!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Away tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Away wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Away breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Away changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brown looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Brown throws Away to one side and escapes!
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.

Away shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Away trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Away stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Away has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brown is proving hard to escape from.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Away fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Away persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brown is refusing to be controlled, as Away sits in half guard.
Brown wants to improve his position but Away is controlling well.
Away missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Brown manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Away feints and as Brown raises his hands in defense, Away changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Brown manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Away gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Brown regains guard.
Brown controls Away momentarily but Away frees himself.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Brown seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Away wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position.
Brown wants to get back to his feet but Away is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Away wants to stand but Brown has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Away is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brown's half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Away slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Tommie Brown will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Away tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard.

Away gets to his feet. Brown looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Away misses with a few strikes there.
Away throws a big shot that misses.
Brown tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Away manages to circle out of the way.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Away gets a takedown into half guard.
Away is breathing heavily.
Away not doing much here.
Away trying to control the action but Brown is working from the bottom.
Brown gets back to full guard.

Brown wants to stand up but Away is controlling him.
Brown is pulling down on Away's head to control his posture.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brown holds on and takes a little breather.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Away is pushing down on Brown's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brown is fighting to maintain full guard but Away has managed to sneak the leg through.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Away is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Away eventually gives up the hold.

Sent Away showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Away's temple.

Brown drops an elbow to the side of Away's head.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Away tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.
Brown lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tommie Brown showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
