Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Lilja swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lilja closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lilja cracks Silva with a big right hand but Silva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lilja on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lilja connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Silva some visible discomfort.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Lilja drags him back down.

Lilja is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silva looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lilja gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silva is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lilja lets go of the hold and Silva can pop his arm back in it's socket.
