PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brick Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron MacGruffyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacGruffyd bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Sparrow bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

MacGruffyd has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Sparrow is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Sparrow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as MacGruffyd walks away with a smile on his face. Sparrow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nice takedown defense from MacGruffyd. No joy for Sparrow on that attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well MacGruffyd has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
