Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaxson Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird lands with an overhand left.

It looks like Manny Holt has been cut.
Holt swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bird throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Holt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bird manages to circle out of the way.
Bird changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Holt just misses with a punch to the body.
Bird tries to close the distance and clinch but Holt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bird connects with a right hand. Holt shakes it off.

Bird has closed the distance and engaged Holt in a clinch.
Bird misses with a hook from the clinch.

Holt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bird lands a really nice looking cross but Holt seems unphased.
Bird lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bird tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Holt is able to avoid easily.

Bird instigates a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bird lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Bird throws a punch but it's blocked by Holt.
Bird throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

As Bird looks to move away, Holt throws a big counter combo but Bird just gets out of the way.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bird just misses with a elbow thrown towards Holt's brow.

Holt lands a takedown into guard.
Bird wants to get back to his feet but Holt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bird tries to clinch but Holt moves out of range.
Bird fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Holt is out of range.
Jaxson Bird is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Holt connects with a crisp jab.

and Holt counters with a one-two to the body.

Holt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bird takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Holt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bird.
Bird is looking to clinch but Holt is avoiding it.

Bird throws a shot from downtown. Holt moves away and avoids it.
Holt misses with a body shot.
A head kick misses from Bird.
Bird lands a leg kick that knocks Holt off balance momentarily.
Bird tries a low kick but Holt avoids it.
Bird throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Holt feinted with a counter takedown.
Bird is looking to clinch but Holt is avoiding it.
