Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Henriques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Jonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henriques shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jonas's guard.

Henriques wants to control from the top but Jonas keeps moving.

Henriques postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jonas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Henriques, into his guard.

Jonas wants to get up but he can't break Henriques's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henriques seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jonas leaves Henriques with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Henriques changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jonas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Henriques is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Henriques slips a nice elbow through Jonas's hands, connecting with Jonas's forehead.
Henriques is looking to take a break and control but Jonas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Henriques is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jonas is just riding it out for now. Henriques eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jonas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Henriques has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Henriques darts in looking for a takedown but Jonas gets double underhooks and turns Henriques into the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jonas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Henriques swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Henriques shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jonas sprawls well. Jonas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Henriques gets slowly back to his feet.
Good leg kick by Jonas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Big Jonas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jonas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
