Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coutino misses with a body shot
and Odom counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Odom shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Odom showed some decent athleticism there.
Odom is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Coutino defends it well.

Odom could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Odom enables Coutino to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Odom manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Coutino is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Odom manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Odom has hold of one of Coutino's legs. Coutino is fighting the takedown attempt but Odom gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Odom looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Odom is working for a submission of some sort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Coutino is looking to clinch but Odom is avoiding it.
Coutino does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Odom is looking to counter punch.
Coutino manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Odom on his heels. He'll look to pass Odom's guard now, I'm sure.
Odom wriggles free and stands up.
Coutino tries to clinch up but Odom circles away and keeps his distance.
Coutino closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Odom has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Coutino is on him like a limpet, forcing Odom back against the cage.
Odom breaks from the clinch.
Odom circles away from the clinch attempt.
Coutino tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Odom manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little feinted left hand from Odom on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jonathan Coutino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Coutino throws a leg kick but Odom sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Coutino is breathing heavily.
Coutino scores with a takedown into Odom's guard.
Odom pushes Coutino off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Odom is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Coutino can do to turn this around?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Odom connects with a nice short shot to Coutino's temple.

Odom seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Coutino is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
