Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donatello The dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joh Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The dragon's entrance music is Cereal Killer by Method Man and Red Man. A fine choice. Joh Jah has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Donatello The dragon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donatello The dragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joh Jah!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by The dragon!
A jab from Jah misses.
Jah drops The dragon with a right and a left! Jah comes rushing in but The dragon regains his composure and manages to keep Jah in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The dragon striking off his back but it's not causing Jah any problems.
The dragon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jah is one step ahead there.
Jah is looking to stand up but The dragon won't let him.

The dragon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The dragon keeping full guard, as Jah tries to pass.

The dragon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jah tries to stand but The dragon is controlling from the bottom.
Jah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The dragon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jah is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The dragon working a defensive guard here.
Jah is looking to stand up but The dragon won't let him.
The dragon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jah tries to free his leg and advance position but The dragon is retaining full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The dragon scores with a nice right hand.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The dragon has a takedown stuffed.
Jah swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jah throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The dragon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The dragon misses with a takedown attempt - Jah sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The dragon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jah.
The dragon lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jah scores with a hook.

Jah throws out a loose jab but The dragon uses good head movement to avoid it.

The dragon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jah!
The dragon is breathing heavily.
The dragon wants to control the pace but Jah is squirming around nicely.
Jah is trying desperately to improve position.
Jah is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The dragon throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Jah is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The dragon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jah turns into him and now he's in The dragon's guard.

Jah won't allow The dragon to sweep him here.
Jah trying to control but The dragon is working from the bottom.
The dragon throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The dragon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jah manages to get himself to full guard.
The dragon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Joh Jah will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jah throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jah misses with a two punch combination.
The dragon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jah.
Jah fails to land with a series of punches.
Jah drops The dragon with a right and a left! Jah comes rushing in but The dragon regains his composure and manages to keep Jah in guard.


The dragon is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The dragon keeping moving, preventing Jah from controlling successfully.
Jah must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The dragon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The dragon has a closed guard, preventing Jah from standing up.
Jah wants to control from the top but The dragon keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jah looks for the body kick but The dragon saw that one coming.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The dragon misses with a few strikes there.
The dragon has his takedown stuffed
and Jah counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The dragon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Joh Jah seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jah swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and The dragon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The dragon.
Jah wants to stand and escape but The dragon is having none of it.
Jah tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The dragon trying to control the position from guard on top but Jah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jah has control of The dragon's left arm, preventing The dragon from doing any damage.

Jah wants to stand up but The dragon is controlling him.
The dragon won't allow Jah to sweep him here.
Jah wants to stand up but The dragon is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jah tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The dragon was well out of range. Poor timing from Jah.
Jah loads up on a big right hand but The dragon slips the punch.
Jah lands with a nice combination. The dragon backs away looking to recover.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The dragon throws a combination that misses
and Jah counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh The dragon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jah throws a looping overhand right but The dragon ducks down to avoid it.
The dragon seems to have got his legs back now.
Donatello The dragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jah lands with a big right hook that stumbles The dragon - he's out on his feet here! Jah follows up with another monster hook that separates The dragon from consciousness! The dragon falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Jah stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joh Jah!
