Vesala changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bonney tries to avoid it but Vesala manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonney to the ground. Bonney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I was talking to Bonney's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bonney throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vesalas head.

Bonney creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Vesala with a big uppercut! Vesala tries to clinch up but Bonney pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Vesala to the mat! Vesala covers up and Bonney unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
