Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darius Frank Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson has chosen The Boys Are Back by Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson shoots for a double leg takedown but Frank Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Thompson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Frank Jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thompson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Frank Jr throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Thompson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Frank Jr is in Thompson's guard.
Thompson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Frank Jr tries to kick Thompson off in order to stand up. Thompson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Frank Jr tries to escape back to his feet but Thompson has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Frank Jr's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Frank Jr is tapping! Thompson saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
