The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernov misses with a looping right.

and Chernov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hardman is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Chernov stalks Hardman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hardman's face. Hardman staggers backwards, shaken.
Hardman tries to bum rush Chernov with a series of wild strikes but Chernov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Hardman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Hardman counters with an outside leg kick.
Chernov avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Chernov throws the left hand but Hardman avoids the punch easily.
Chernov throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Chernov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hardman looks winded!
Chernov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Chernov scores with a jab. Hardman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Hardman dips to his left and cracks Chernov with an uppercut!

Oooooh!!! Chernov has knocked Hardman down with a huge combo! Chernov steps away and waves a wobbly Hardman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Bruce Hardman has been cut.
Chernov connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hardman covering up! Chernov comes in with a big uppercut and Hardman goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
