Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JD Hogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes into the arena with Gaslight Anthem - Boxer blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hogg fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Adams to the ground. Hogg is now in Adams's guard.
Hogg pushing down on Adams's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Adams wants to control but Hogg is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adams is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hogg's half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Adams's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Adams is working hard here to advance position.
Adams breaks Hogg's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Adams looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hogg has picked Adams up and slammed him! Adams can't keep hold of the triangle and Hogg manages to pass to side control!

Let's hope that Hogg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Hogg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
