Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatt shoots in and bounces Massa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Massa looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gatt throwing strikes but missing.
Massa is trying to keep Gatt in close.
Gatt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Gatt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gatt is trying to control. Massa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Massa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Massa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gatt on the ground.
Gatt has an Americana. Massa didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gatt is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gatt hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
