Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mio Zioa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Maidana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mio Zioa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lucas Maidana!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zioa swings widly with a right hand
and Maidana counters with a straight right hand.
Zioa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Maidana responds with a good body kick, but Zioa manages to step out the way in time.
Maidana throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Zioa counters with a shoot takedown. Maidana fights it but they end up in guard.
Zioa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Maidana looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zioa is one step ahead there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zioa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zioa lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zioa throws a big elbow that misses.
Zioa drops back looking for a leg! Maidana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maidana manages to kick Zioa off! Zioa jumps back into Maidana's guard.
Zioa drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Zioa seems to have locked his on tight now - Maidana screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Zioa, as he picks up the win!
