Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mariano Neal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Cardick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mariano Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Phillip Cardick!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardick clinches up with Neal and pushes him back against the cage.
Cardick tries to stall but Neal uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Cardick is trying to trip Neal. He has hold of a leg but Neal is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cardick persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Cardick throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Neal keeping full guard, as Cardick tries to pass.
Cardick trying to control the position from guard on top but Neal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cardick stands and throws Neal's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cardick wants to control but Neal is keeping him busy.
Neal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cardick decides to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cardick rushes Neal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cardick has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Neal regains guard immediately.
Neal is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cardick dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neal really is a fat lump.
Cardick sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Neal is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Cardick is working to tighten his grip on Neal's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Neal has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cardick is really squeezing tight and eventually Neal passes out! Cardick breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
