Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrea Lucchesi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Taran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Andrea Lucchesi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taran gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lucchesi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taran can do anything to dispel that myth.

and Taran counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Taran walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lucchesi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Lucchesi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Taran gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Taran jumps into guard, dragging Lucchesi to the mat.

Lucchesi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lucchesi tries to clinch there but Taran circles away.
Taran has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Taran will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lucchesi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Taran swivels and escapes.

Taran feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Alexander Taran showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Alexander Taran comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Taran has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
