Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soupy Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Campbell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Prince scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Josh Prince has been cut.

Campbell tries to circle away but Prince has him pinned against the cage.

Prince has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Campbell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Prince had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Campbell defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Campbell is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Campbell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Prince had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prince jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Campbell walks away with a smile on his face. Prince gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As Prince backs off Campbell throws a huge counter combo but Prince manages to avoid it all.

Prince is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Campbell lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Prince or not.
