The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakanishi slips a jab and a cross from Walker.
Nakanishi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nakanishi half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Walker misses with a shot to the body
and Nakanishi counters with a shoot takedown. Walker fights it but they end up in guard.
Nakanishi chips away with some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nakanishi's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Nakanishi advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nakanishi lands an elbow.
Nakanishi lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Walker down.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nakanishi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Walker is looking for a sweep.
Nakanishi in side control lands a decent elbow.
A big shot lands for Nakanishi! That's hurt Walker! Will he recover? Nakanishi fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
