The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and MacArthur counters with a series of strikes. Williams will be more careful next time no doubt.

MacArthur lunges at Williams with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Williams's hand.

It looks like Cody Williams has been cut.
Williams tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but MacArthur defends well and Williams ends up having to push MacArthur into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jyoti MacArthur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Williams.

MacArthur seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

MacArthur feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Williams sprawling to the canvas! Williams rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can MacArthur finish him?!

Williams is rocked!
MacArthur fakes the body blow, causing Williams to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Williams goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
