Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adrian McCarthy!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janis shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
McCarthy is trying to stand up here but Janis is controlling him well.
McCarthy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Janis scores with a couple of nice shots.
McCarthy pushes Janis off looking to stand but Janis dives back in and keeps control.
Janis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McCarthy won't allow Janis to pass to mount.
McCarthy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Janis wants to pass to mount but McCarthy is defending the position.
McCarthy pushes Janis off looking to stand but Janis dives back in and keeps control.

Janis is looking to pass McCarthy's guard but actually McCarthy recovers to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Janis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Janis lands in his opponent's guard.
Janis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Janis postures up in McCarthy's guard and throws a big left but McCarthy blocks it.
McCarthy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Janis stops McCarthy from standing up.
Janis passes McCarthy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

McCarthy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Janis.
Janis working over McCarthy with some ground and pound. McCarthy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Janis prevents McCarthy from improving his position.
McCarthy is staying active underneath Janis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Janis lands strikes from half guard.

McCarthy is in a horrible position here. Janis smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
McCarthy is rocked!
Janis softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and McCarthy is out cold! Janis jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pyyno Janis!
