The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin dives in for a single leg takedown but Hze sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Putin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hze haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hze shoots in looking for a takedown. Putin tries to sprawl out of it but Hze keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Putin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Putin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
