Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zi Phan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adriano Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Zi Phan has been cut.

Phan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ribeiro wants to get back to his feet but Phan drags him back down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ribeiro is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Phan is controlling him well.

Ribeiro tries to escape but Phan is in control.
Ribeiro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Phan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Phan throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Ribeiro has his hands clasped together but Phan breaks the hold and Ribeiro is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Phan!
