Forbes lands a slapping body shot.
Forbes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Spoon dives in for a single leg takedown but Forbes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Spoon.
Forbes is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spoon taking a breather here.
Forbes takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Forbes is looking to regain half guard here but Spoon keeps moving and retains side control.

Forbes is looking for a sweep. Spoon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Forbes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Spoon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Spoon's back!
Spoon covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Forbes working for a choke but Spoon is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spoon trying to get back to his feet but Forbes is in full control for now.
Forbes controlling well, preventing Spoon from escaping the position.
Forbes lands with a hammerfist to the side of Spoon's head.

Spoon is trying to get back to his feet but Forbes has full control of the position and if anything, Spoon has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Forbes is landing with strikes from the back.

Forbes has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Spoon is defending well but eventually Forbes manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Spoon has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
