PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Force (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mac Force!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Austin Powers!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Force is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Powers.
Force gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Powers avoids the body shot from Force.
Powers throws out a counter right but Force avoids it with no problem.
Powers misses with a right hand
enabling Force to counter with a crisp jab.
Force misses with a combination
and Force takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Force ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Powers moves away.
Force missing with a left hand there. Powers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Force displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Force scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Powers scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Powers lands a big head kick that sends Force tumbling to the mat! Powers takes a step backwards and waves Force back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Force swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Powers avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Powers missing with a left hand there. Force was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Powers takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Force scores with a hook to the body. Powers takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Force dips to his left and cracks Powers with an uppercut!
Force misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Powers.
Force uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Powers.
Force blocks a jab.
Powers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Force rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Powers counters with a leg kick.
Powers fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Force checks it well.
Force uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Powers.
A shot to the liver by Force. Beautiful body shot.
Powers looks winded!
Force scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Powers doesn't seem bothered though.
Powers takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Force lands a glancing blow to the side of Powers's head.
Force cracks Powers's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Powers slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Force can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mac Force!
Mac Force decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
