Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Randy Weiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jo jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weiss instigates a clinch.
jo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Weiss up against the cage.

jo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. jo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Weiss throws a strike but jo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

jo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Weiss has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, jo has managed to get both his arms back between Weiss's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
jo is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
jo won't allow Weiss to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I really don't envy Weiss right now.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
You can see the frustration on Weiss's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Weiss is breathing heavily.

jo is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Weiss with him. Weiss is trying to defend but jo has an arm under the chin now! Weiss grimaces and is forced to tap out!
