Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Play throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fleming.
Fleming really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A punch combination from Fleming misses.
Play closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fleming is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Fleming is trying to pull guard but Play turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Fleming is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Play to keep the fight standing.
Play wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fleming jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Play walks away with a smile on his face. Fleming gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Play unleashes a big counter combination but Fleming bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fleming gets caught napping as Play dives in and scores a takedown. Fleming manages to retain guard.

Play lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Play.
Play comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Play drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Play working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Fleming parries the strikes from Play easily there. Play is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fleming to escape.

Fleming sneaks out the side door and pushes Play away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Play drives through with a takedown into guard.

Play throws an elbow that misses. Fleming uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Play's guard. Nice move by Fleming!
Play uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A left and a right from Fleming both land. Nice combination.
Play changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fleming looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fleming bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Fleming moves into the clinch successfully.
Nice body punch from Fleming - that landed with a thud.
Play dodges an elbow strike from Fleming.
Fleming tries to pull guard but Play holds him up against the cage and eventually Fleming drops back down to his feet.
Fleming struggles to land a body shot inside as Play controls his hands.
Play has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Fleming is trying to pull guard but Play has him pressed against the cage.

Play wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fleming has him pressed against the cage.
Fleming wants to break free but Play has control.

Fleming jumps guard but Play stands there with Fleming around his waist. Fleming gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fleming tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Play smiles and moves away.
Play looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Play in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Play is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Play has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Play slips nicely into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Stroke Play will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fleming is rocked!
Play slips a jab and a cross from Fleming.
Oh Fleming is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Play dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Fleming has had enough and taps out.
