The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zioa lands a high kick!
It looks like Lucas Maidana has been cut.
Zioa misses with a straight left.
Lucas Maidana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zioa gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Maidana.
Zioa throws a hook but Maidana blocks it.
Maidana scores with a crisp jab that stopped Zioa in his tracks.
Maidana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Left hook, right uppercut from Maidana.
Zioa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zioa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Zioa has hold of Maidana's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Maidana seems comfortable defending it but Zioa has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Maidana is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Maidana is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zioa couldn't care less - he's delighted!
