PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Navi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Navi has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Navi tries to keep at a distance but Chapman has taken the fight into the clinch.

Chapman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chapman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Chapman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Navi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chapman controls the pace.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Navi enables Chapman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Navi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Chapman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Navi's waist but Navi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chapman off to one side.
Despite the aggression on Navi's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Chapman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Navi's guard.

Chapman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Navi, pushing him back against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chapman is on top in guard.

Chapman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chapman manages to end up in side control.

Chapman pushes a forearm under Navi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Navi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
