Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jac Baclk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javi Castillejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javi Castillejo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jac Baclk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Javi Castillejo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castillejo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baclk sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Baclk looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Baclk throws a head kick but Castillejo moves out of range.
Castillejo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Castillejo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Baclk sneaks out the side door and pushes Castillejo away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Baclk avoids a punch combination nicely.
A bone on bone clash there as Castillejo blocks the leg kick.
Castillejo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baclk closes the distance and clinches up with Castillejo, looking for a takedown. Baclk pushes Castillejo against the cage but Castillejo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Castillejo pushes off an throws an elbow but Baclk leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Castillejo connects with a nice short shot to Baclk's temple.

Castillejo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Castillejo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baclk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Baclk is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Castillejo scores with a couple of nice shots.

Castillejo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Castillejo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Baclk sees it coming and defends easily.
Baclk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Baclk is in a horrible position here. Castillejo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Baclk leaves Castillejo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Castillejo has control of Baclk's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Baclk regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Castillejo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Javi Castillejo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Castillejo closes the distance looking for a takedown. Baclk stuffs it but Castillejo still has hold of him. Castillejo picks Baclk up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Castillejo slams Baclk to the floor and that's really hurt Baclk - he doesn't know where he is! Castillejo throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Javi Castillejo!
Javi Castillejo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
