Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Kelley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Georges Batroc!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelley throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Batroc swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Batroc takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kelley takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Batroc walks into a left hand.
Batroc moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kelley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Georges Batroc has been cut.
Batroc avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kelley throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Batroc makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kelley misses with a lunging right hand
and Batroc counters with an outside leg kick.
Batroc chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We've been told by Kelley's head coaches at The Iron Palace that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Batroc tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kelley is able to avoid easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Batroc gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Batroc throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kelley half committed to a counter leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelley misses with a right hand
and Batroc counters with a nice leg kick.
Batroc waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kelley.
Kelley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Batroc manages to avoid it.
Batroc fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kelley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Batroc gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Batroc uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kelley.
A jab from Batroc misses.
Batroc throws a chopping leg kick but Kelley manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kelley bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Batroc's head backwards.

Batroc is rocked!
Kelley ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Batroc's jaw. Batroc's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Kelley does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Liam Kelley!
A very excited looking Liam Kelley rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
