Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JR Writer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Writer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dean is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Writer wants to get back to his feet but Dean is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Writer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dean makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Dean wants to pass the guard but Writer is keeping the position.
Dean stops Writer from standing up.
Dean postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Dean will probably get the nod.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dean cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Writer tries to buck Dean off but he can't manage it.
Dean has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Writer's face.
Dean lands a big shot there that rocks Writer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Dean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

You get the feeling that Writer really doesn't like being in this position too much.
