Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ddt clinches.
Ddt gets control of Strong's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ddt will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Ddt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ddt performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Ddt looking for a submission but Strong manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ddt trying to control but Strong is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ddt sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Strong's guard.
Ddt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strong is just riding it out for now. Ddt eventually gives up the hold.
Ddt seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Strong looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ddt not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Strong is not content to let Ddt control the position.

Ddt prevents Strong from improving his position.
Ddt is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Strong is refusing to be controlled, as Ddt sits in half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ddt is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Strong has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Ddt is in a lot of trouble! Strong is straining to finish and he's done it! Ddt taps out! Amazing!
