Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luk Yuha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luk Yuha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maximus Meridius!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridius takes one to the chin there.
Meridius with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yuha to score with a decent uppercut.
Meridius shoots in but Yuha avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Meridius throws a hook to the side of Yuha's head but Yuha sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Yuha scores with a nice head shot.
Yuha lands a nice looking body shot.
Meridius takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Meridius takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Yuha has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Animal House in the buildup to the fight.

Yuha throws a left that rocks Meridius and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Yuha dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Meridius regain composure!

Meridius is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Meridius tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Meridius is not content to let Yuha control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yuha wants to stand but Meridius has his arm trapped.

Yuha stands up and beckons Meridius to his feet.
Meridius changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yuha tries to avoid it but Meridius manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yuha to the ground. Yuha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Meridius misses with a hook
and Yuha counters with a nice uppercut.
Yuha lands an overhand right.
Meridius's coach down at Animal House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Meridius's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Luk Yuha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Yuha cracks Meridius with an uppercut from hell and Meridius crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Yuha's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Meridius is still in real trouble! Can Yuha finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yuha trying to stand up but can't free himself from Meridius's guard.
Meridius keeping moving, preventing Yuha from controlling successfully.
Meridius seems to have recovered his senses.

Meridius looking for a triangle here. Yuha is fighting it but it looks tight! Meridius pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Yuha is tapping out - this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Maximus Meridius gave a big smile as he said 'Are you entertained? Are you not entertained?!?!?'.
