Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarik Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulrich Holworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ulrich Holworth has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tarik Slice's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tarik Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ulrich Holworth!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slice takes the fight into the clinch.
Holworth tries a body shot but Slice blocks it.
The referee calls for Holworth to work.
Holworth is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Slice to keep the fight standing.
Holworth tries to pull guard but Slice forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Holworth struggles to land a body shot inside as Slice controls his hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holworth's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Slice misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Holworth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Holworth is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Slice is defending well.
Holworth looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tarik Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ulrich Holworth.
Holworth displaying some good clinch control by pressing Slice up against the cage.
Holworth fails to pull guard.

Slice breaks the clinch.

Holworth moves into range and clinches up with Slice.
Holworth blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Slice throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Slice is pressed up against the cage. Holworth has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Slice down to the mat. Slice avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Holworth clinches up against the cage.
Slice goes for a takedown in the clinch but Holworth prevents it.
Holworth tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slice unloads a knee to the mid-section. Holworth lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Slice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Slice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holworth pinned against the cage. Holworth gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Holworth wants to counter the offense by Slice and move into the clinch position.
Holworth shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Holworth keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Holworth stuffs the takedown attempt from Slice. Slice gets slowly back to his feet.

Holworth has managed to clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Slice.
Holworth jumps guard but Slice turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holworth ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Holworth no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Holworth can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slice controls the pace.
Slice trying to control the position from guard on top but Holworth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Holworth is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slice defends well.
Slice wants to pass the guard but Holworth is keeping the position.

Holworth is looking to cinch up a triangle. Slice throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Holworth's body to avoid the submission. Holworth has instead reached around Slice's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Holworth arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ulrich Holworth!
