Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jed Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Biernat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Biernat's choice of entrance music: Aleja Gwiazd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jed Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Karol Biernat!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Biernat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Knight swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Biernat has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Biernat there as he acknowledges the shot.
Knight lands a lovely overhand right.
Knight moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Knight stuns Biernat with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Knight is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Biernat.
Knight lands a slapping body shot.
Knight swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Biernat feints a counter leg kick.
Knight dips to his left and cracks Biernat with an uppercut!
Knight scores with a three punch combo!
Biernat looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knight goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Biernat slips a jab and a cross from Knight.
Biernat shapes to counter with a head kick.
Knight works Biernat's body with a nice hook.

Knight closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Knight escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Biernat blocks a jab.
Knight swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Biernat counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Knight closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Biernat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Biernat circles away from the clinch attempt.

Knight closes the distance and clinches.
Biernat jumps guard but Knight stands there with Biernat around his waist. Biernat gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Biernat pulls guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Biernat has his foot on Knight's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Knight works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Biernat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Knight looks like he's trying to stand up.
Biernat tries to stand and escape but Knight is controlling the position.

Biernat decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Biernat circles away from the clinch attempt.
Knight with a body punch. A glancing blow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Biernat closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knight waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Biernat.
Knight scores with a one two! Biernat had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Knight cracks a nice hook into Biernat's ribs.
Knight looks to throw the jab but Biernat is out of range.

Knight rushes Biernat and presses him up against the cage.

Biernat pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A big left from Knight misses.
Knight tries to clinch there but Biernat circles away.
Knight looks to land a combination but Biernat avoids it well.
Knight cracks a nice hook into Biernat's ribs.

Knight drives through and clinches with Biernat against the cage.

Knight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jed Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Biernat doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A combination from Biernat does no damage.

Knight gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Knight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Knight tries to close the distance and clinch but Biernat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Knight tries to clinch but Biernat is having none of it.
Knight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Biernat is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Knight dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Biernat showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Knight.
Knight is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Knight punishes Biernat's body with a nice straight punch.
Knight is looking to clinch.
A nice side step and Biernat releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jed Knight dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Knight scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Biernat closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Biernat takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jed Knight is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jed Knight is winning the standup battle so far.
Knight moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Knight is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Biernat can do to turn this around?

Biernat tries to move into range but Knight moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Biernat needs to keep his hands up - Knight had a free shot at his head there.


Biernat is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Are you kidding me?! Knight ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Biernat clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
