The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyde throws a sloppy head kick and Odonnell moves out of range easily.

Hyde instigates a clinch.

Hyde throws a series of punches but Odonnell avoids them all with ease.
Hyde lands with a kick to the temple. Odonnell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Odonnell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Hyde changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Odonnell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Odonnell tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hyde manages to circle out of the way.

Crunch! Hyde slams his shin into Odonnell's torso.

Hyde dives in and scores a takedown into Odonnell's guard.
Hyde throws an elbow that misses. Odonnell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hyde's guard. Nice move by Odonnell!

and Hyde counters with a series of strikes. Odonnell will be more careful next time no doubt.
