Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Faustino Ashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ming Dienasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ming Dienasty has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Faustino Ashley's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Dienasty. No joy for Ashley on that attempt.
Dienasty thows a body kick. Ashley tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Ashley clinches up with Dienasty and pushes him back against the cage.

Ashley is trying to trip Dienasty. He has hold of a leg but Dienasty is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ashley persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Dienasty wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ashley manages to pass to side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dienasty is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dienasty pushes Ashley off looking to stand but Ashley dives back in and keeps control.

Ashley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ashley decides to stand and escape the position.
Dienasty swings for the body but Ashley moves out of range.

Ming Dienasty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dienasty tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Ashley clinches up with Dienasty and pushes him back against the cage.

Ashley jumps guard and drags Dienasty to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ashley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dienasty walks away with a smile on his face. Ashley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Dienasty creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ashley's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ashley drops to his knees and Dienasty pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
