Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeramy Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Kirmayr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeramy Charles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Kirmayr !
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirmayr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charles defends it nicely.
Kirmayr looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Kirmayr moves into range and clinches up with Charles.
Charles tries to circle away but Kirmayr has him pinned against the cage.
Charles is trying to maintain a safe position but Kirmayr gets an underhook and turns Charles into the cage.
Charles drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kirmayr pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Charles shoots in looking for a takedown. Kirmayr tries to sprawl out of it but Charles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kirmayr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Charles is trying to push Kirmayr away but Kirmayr has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Charles throwing strikes from guard but Kirmayr blocks nicely.
Charles makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Charles is looking to work some ground and pound but Kirmayr has wrist control.
Kirmayr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Charles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Charles throws a strike but Kirmayr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Charles lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Charles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kirmayr on the ground.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Charles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kirmayr tries to avoid it but Charles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kirmayr to the ground. Kirmayr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeramy Charles. That's going to take a lot out of him.

It looked like Charles was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Kirmayr moves into range and clinches up with Charles.
Charles has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kirmayr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kirmayr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Charles just stands there and leans against the cage.
Charles tries to score a body lock takedown but Kirmayr shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Charles is trying to push Kirmayr away but Kirmayr has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kirmayr or perhaps it was just good defense by Charles, which made it look bad.

Well Kirmayr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
