Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olliver Gullion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Olliver Gullion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Jones!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gullion.
Gullion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gullion is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gullion misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones throws a body kick that misses.
Gullion went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gullion throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head.
Both fighters circling a little - Gullion finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Gullion throws a counter high kick but Jones was just alert enough to avoid it.

Gullion fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

As Gullion backs off Jones throws a huge counter combo but Gullion manages to avoid it all.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Gullion ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gullion is looking to chop away at Jones's legs.
Leandro Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a series of punches but Gullion moves out of range.
Jones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Gullion drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Gullion keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Leandro Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gullion throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.

Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gullion looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jones sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gullion is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Gullion throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gullion stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gullion.

Jones has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Gullion.

Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gullion eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gullion fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Jones throws a right hand that Gullion ducks under and follows up with a left that Gullion also avoids with ease.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gullion is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gullion wants to get back to his feet.
Jones tries to score with some ground and pound. Gullion controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Gullion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Leandro Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gullion sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jones dives in and grabs Gullion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gullion pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gullion tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gullion to the ground. Gullion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Gullion has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jones has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gullion escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gullion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gullion wants it to stay on the feet.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gullion. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

A very excited looking Olliver Gullion rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
