The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunnerson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dudley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gunnerson slaps away a takedown attempt from Dudley, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gunnerson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dudley.
Dudley dodges the punch combination from Gunnerson .
Gunnerson lands a jab to Dudley's midsection.
Dudley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gunnerson lands a really nice looking cross but Dudley seems unphased.
Gunther Gunnerson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dudley dives in and grabs Gunnerson 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gunnerson pushes down on Dudley's head and hops out.

Dudley shoots in for a double leg but Gunnerson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harvey Dudley. That's going to take a lot out of him.

As Gunnerson looks to move away, Dudley throws a big counter combo but Gunnerson just gets out of the way.

Gunnerson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gunnerson wants it to stay on the feet.
Dudley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Gunnerson , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gunnerson looks to score with a jab to the body but Dudley is just out of range.
Gunnerson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gunnerson .

Gunnerson rushes Dudley with punches - Dudley moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Dudley goes down! Gunnerson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
