The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moses avoids a punch combination nicely.
Moses fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A little jabbing left from Pesado on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Moses jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pesado walks away with a smile on his face. Moses gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Moses shoots in for a takedown but Pesado shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pesado feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Moses's calf.

Pesado has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Moses regains guard immediately.
Pesado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moses. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pesado is keen to just control but Moses is a slippery customer.
Pesado is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Moses is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pesado's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pesado's back!

Pesado is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Moses gets his way!
